The restored Villa Cefalà is a delightful find conveniently located on the coastline just east of Palermo. The family came back to their ancestral home, dating from 1778, to bring it back to its original splendor, open it up to guests, and oversee the production of organic wine, olive oil and the citrus groves. Cordial and enthusiastic Paola offers her guests accommodation in comfortable apartments, suites and bedrooms, set in four different cottages surrounding the stately, main white villa with its rooftop terrace looking out to the sea. The Limonaia, overlooking the citrus groves, contains 4 well-decorated two-bedroom apartments divided on two floors, complete with living room and kitchenette. Nespolo is a separate 3-bedroom house with sea views. Casetta Rosa and Atrio are separate guesthouses, each containing a lovely 2-bedroom apartment. Oliveto holds four individual bedrooms, all with their own entrance. Wrought-iron canopy beds, country furniture, and country fabric curtains furnish the very pleasant rooms. Dinner is served, upon request, in the rustic dining room in the villa. Airport transfers and laundry services are available. A great location for touring Palermo, Monreale and the northern coastline.
