Palazzo Romani Adami Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

The noble Romani Adami family has resided for many generations in this fascinating 18th-century palace complex at the heart of the well-preserved walled medieval town of Fermo. Comprising the family residence, farmers’ quarters, cantina, barns, kitchens and stables this was a flourishing agricultural area where grain, grapes and olives were transported to the village and processed literally in-house. After an ingenious restoration, fortunate guests have a choice of seven tastefully appointed apartments and rooms of varying sizes within the palazzo. All the rooms have independent entrances and some special features such as views, inner courtyard or large interior garden. A creative combination of family antiques, contemporary pieces, beautiful fabrics and modern bathrooms enhance the apartments. Gracious hostess Cecilia Romani Adami and her family live in another section of the vast palazzo and are always on hand to suggest interesting sightseeing. The apartments are ideal for groups of friends. Dinners can be arranged for larger groups while breakfast fixings are found in each of the apartments with kitchen facilities. Fermo is south of Ancona and just 5 km from the Adriatic sea.
