Karen's Review Of This Property:
Since agritourism properties are practically nonexistent right along Lake Garda, it is nice to find a variety of alternatives in the scenic countryside a short distance away from its southern tip. Luigi and Emilia thoroughly enjoy opening up their home for guests and actively participate in creating local itineraries and even accompanying guests to the many artistic, cultural, and natural sights of the area. Luigi has a passion for outdoor sports such as cycling and canoing down the Mincio river. The driveway leads to three colorful houses in a row overlooking the swimming pool and surrounding lawn to the front and the fields to the back. The farm produces excellent wine, cheese, honey, and salami. The 200-year-old farmhouse has been completely renovated and has six air-conditioned guestrooms (two are studio spaces with kitchenette) on the upper floors accessed by an iron staircase. They are very clean and new, with reproduction country furniture and some with beamed ceilings. Downstairs in the brick-vaulted dining room, a buffet breakfast is served as well as Emilia’s homemade dinners.
