Karen's Review Of This Property:
Heaton’s, a purpose-built guesthouse, commands an enviable position at the head of Dingle Bay, with spectacular views across the water to Burnham Headlands. The mouth of the sheltered harbor is just a five-minute walk from the heart of this lively town. While the style outside is modern, the inside is more traditional with classic French furniture. The bedrooms are smartly decorated with beds coming in sizes from twin to king. Nuala is a stickler for quality when it comes to bedding and towels, so crisp white sheets adorn the beds and good-quality towels hang in the sparkling white bathrooms, which all have power showers over the tubs. Ten of the rooms have views to the bay and three are large enough to accommodate a second bed for a child (request a second-floor room for the best view). Rooms 14 and 16 are the most spacious of rooms, with a king-sized bed, roomy sitting area, and Jacuzzi tub and shower. Daughter Jackie, the breakfast chef, makes certain breakfast is a full Irish spread of local produce, with the fish and omelettes, made with free-range eggs, deserving a special mention.
