Karen's Review Of This Property:
Mont Saint Jean, located in the heart of Burgundy, is a perfect base from which to explore the area. After driving through the beautiful countryside and the hilltop medieval village, you are rewarded with views of this outstanding Norman-French manor house from the 19th century. It offers a picturesque and unusual setting. As soon as you enter the Château, your charming hosts will welcome you. On the ground floor, a cozy salon with fireplace, a library and a dining room are at your disposal. A wide wooden stairway leads you up to all the bedrooms. All are very spacious and benefit from high ceilings, contemporary furnishings with a few handsome antiques, fireplaces and gorgeous views. The “Enchanting View” room has a private balcony and a spectacular panorama over the valley. Tobias and Marco offer table d’hôte twice a week, using all fresh ingredients from the area. They are constantly improving the place and committed to making your stay memorable. Plans for the future include converting the vaulted cellar in for wine tasting as well as a fitness area.
