Due to the ever-increasing popularity of the stunning medieval village of San Gimignano, accommodations in the surrounding countryside have flourished. The Casanova is a typical square stone farmhouse with wood shutters and red-tile roof, which you’ll grow accustomed to seeing throughout Tuscany. The bed and breakfast’s exceptional feature is that it enjoys a privileged view of the towers of San Gimignano, an ancient town referred to as the “Manhattan” of the year 1000. The Fanciulini Family, who aim to offer quality accommodation at competitive rates, have the farmhouse, adding amenities in rooms such as air conditioning, satellite TV, and telephone, and have also installed a swimming pool with garden view. Breakfast and restaurant meals are served in the beautiful dining room or on the outside patio where guests can enjoy the breathtaking scenery. This is an authentic farm that produces a bounty of products: wine, olive oil, saffron-to name just a few! The property offers eight double rooms with private baths and one apartment for two persons. Country furniture characteristic of the region decorates the rooms, whose original architectural features have been preserved.
