On the northern shores of Lake Bracciano, 45 kilometers from Rome, is the small town of Trevignano where ex-producer and music director Gianni’s home is located a short drive up from town, taking advantage of the high viewpoint over the lake and surrounding countryside. The simpatico host’s true passion is cooking and entertaining, and guests are rewarded each day with a superbly prepared full meal based on traditional recipes whose ingredients come from his own organic vegetable garden and accompanied by select wines. Gianni also shares his vast knowledge of Italian cuisine by organizing lessons in his well-equipped kitchen. The six bedrooms on the upper three floors vary in size, from the smaller children’s rooms to the master bedroom with hydro-jet tub, air conditioning, TV, stereo, fireplace and terrace with lovely lake views. True coziness and comfort is dedicated to the common areas, which include living rooms with fireplace and grand piano, veranda dining room, garden, and swimming pool. There is also one small apartment for weekly stays with double bedroom and living area with kitchenette for two to four persons. Enjoy the area’s historical villages and Viterbo’s thermal spas.
