Karen's Review Of This Property:

The famous gourmet chef, Philippe Monti, of the Hostellerie de Crillon le Brave, opened his bed and breakfast in 2003. Philippe and Isabelle have done a terrific job renovating this 18th-century house which they named for the region’s oldest and rarest Noria waterwheel that is located in their garden. All of the charming and comfortable bedrooms are spacious and rustic and are furnished with wrought-iron beds and locally found antiques. Provencal fabrics and beamed ceilings enhance the ambiance. Some rooms enjoy a private terrace. The Pomme de Pin suite has a canopy bed, polished walls, a living room and a huge open bathroom with bathtub and shower. Well tended gardens abound, the display of flowers is gorgeous and a beautiful saltwater pool is set in the middle of the garden and includes a pool house. Even the wash-house has been transformed into an inviting summer living room so you can relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty. The Montis have a real passion for nature and they have planted a few fruit trees, so you can enjoy their excellent marmalade and fresh fruit when you attend their table d’hôte twice a week. Philippe was born in the area, and has traveled all around France as a chef, and he is eager to show you all that the region has to offer.
