Château de Garrevaques

Since the 15th century the splendid Château de Garrevaques has passed down through generations of the same family and was a private residence until the family decided to offer rooms to travelers on a bed and breakfast basis. Today, Marie-Christine, a retired purser with Air France, and her husband, Claude Combes, live at the château where they welcome and host their guests. The château is lovingly decorated with heirlooms, beautiful antiques, and fabric-covered walls and exudes great warmth, elegance, and genuine hospitality. There are five handsome bedrooms located in the château (the original bed & breakfast accommodation) and in recent years the neighboring stables (referred to as the Pavillon) have been renovated to offer fifteen luxurious rooms with modern appointments, a spa and two restaurants. Together, the Château and the Pavillon are referred to as the Domaine du Château de Garrevaques. For dining the two restaurants in the Pavillon offer their own wonderful ambiance and menu. Le Grenier du Pastel spills over onto the garden terrace and offers a lighter fare and more casual service, while La Cave, embraced by the stone walls and vaulted ceilings of the cellar, offers fine, regional cuisine. In addition to the spa, a swimming pool and a tennis court are available to enjoy.
