Beyond the Royal Palace in the old town(Gamla Stan) of Stockholm stands the 700 year old Stockholm Cathedral (Storkyrkan). This is quite convenient as the Swedish Monarchy are married and crowned in the cathedral. The cathedral houses a magnificent statue of St. George and the Dragon by Berndt Notke.
