Bäckaskog Castle(Slott)

The original building on this site was a monastery erected in the 13th-century. The monastery was replaced by the present castle. The Bäckaskog Castle is surrounded by lovely gardens and its own small forest where there are a few cottages that can be rented and several rather drab motel-like annexes. The castle is currently used as a restaurant and a conference and wedding hotel.
