Dating from the 12th century, St. Mary’s Church(Mariakirken) is the oldest building still existing in Bergen and one of the loveliest Romanesque churches in Norway. The pulpit is considered a prime example of Baroque decorative art in Norway. The imposing twin towers at the entrance to the church give a very distinctive appearance.
