Ringve Manor House

The Ringve Museum is Norway's national museum of musical instruments with a collection of about 1800 instruments.  Many of the rooms in the Manor House are named for various composers and musicians and the motif of the room is associated with the musician. For instance, the Chopin room has pianos preferred by the master as well as various items associated with him personally or from the period. The Barn is filled with collections of instruments including an interesting collection of folk insruments from around the world.
