Norwegian Folk Museum

The Norwegian Folk Museum(The Norsk Folkemuseum) is an enormous park of buildings brought from all over Norway and reconstructed to show life in Norway from medieval times. It is especially interesting  because all types of buildings are represented, from the simplest farm house to the splendid homes of the wealthy. There is more than 150 buildings in the Open-Air Museum representing different regions in Norway.Not only homes but shops, pharmacies and a stave church(Gol Stave Church) have been reconstructed. There are several museums in the park and many of the buildings are furnished appropriate to the era in which they were built.
