User Review Of This Attraction:
I love cats! I found this site as I was looking for unusual tourist sites in Rome. This sanctuary is open every day from noon until 6 PM, but the cats are probably always visible in the ruins. I was taken into the cats' nursery where I saw healthy happy cats who are cared for by volunteers who also love cats. Some cats are available for local adoptions, and others are available for distance adoptions that help provide care for the cats. I was not there at the right time to take a tour of the ruins, but I would like to plan for the tour on a future trip to Rome. Their website provides information about the sanctuary.
