Another excursion from Marina Grande, while on Capri, is to Anacapri, the only other town on the island. Here, you can visit the Villa San Michel, a lovely villa overlooking the sea that was the home of the Swedish scientist Axel Munthe. His residence is now open as a museum. Anacapri is a bit too far to walk easily but buses leave regularly from the main square in town.
