The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is one of the last great seaside amusement parks. The amusement park bordering a broad stretch of white-sand beach, was a popular day trip for workers in San Francisco. The rides include a heart-stopping 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster and a wonderful 1911 looff carousel.
