Perched on the headlands just north of Ocean Beach the Cliff House is a splendid spot to enjoy a drink at the end of a days sightseeing. There’s magnificent ocean views (fog permitting) across Seal Rock and to the Marin Headlands. You may well see cargo vessels steaming towards the Golden Gate Bridge or perhaps whales on their migration north. The casual Bistro Restaurant is first come, first served while reservations can be made for the more formal Sutro’s Restaurant.
