In addition to the museums there are two churches. A lovely one sits on the main square, but the more dramatic is the Roman Catholic Church, reached by a winding staircase from the center of town. Be sure to go inside to see the beautiful altarpiece painted in the l6th century and given to the church by a wealthy wine merchant.
