Follow the signs to the town of La Conner. On the National Register of Historic Places, this small town dates back to the late 1860s and is perhaps best known for its annual Tulip Festival in April, when a true profusion of tulips and daffodils are out in force. Farmland washed in spring color is a beautiful sight! The tulips are spread out over a 15 mile radius through the Skagit Valley.
