The Rodin Museum along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway was opened in 1929 through the largesse of Mrs. Mastbaum and her late husband, Jules, whose dream it had been to exhibit his collection of Rodin pieces. The exhibits of the drawings and sculpture of Auguste Rodin is one of the largest of its kind outside France.
