The Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford is located in a converted Civil War grist mill. The museum focuses on the artwork of the Wyeth family—probably the most noted of all artistic families in America. The works of N. C. Wyeth his son Andrew, and in turn his son Jamie are hung here in various galleries. In addition, there are changing exhibits of other area artists.
