Leaving Healdsburg, follow Hwy 101 north for the half-hour drive to Cloverdale where you take Hwy 128 heading northwest toward the coast. At first the road twists slowly up and over a rather steep pass. After the summit, the way becomes more gentle as you head down into the beautiful Anderson Valley, well-known for its delicious wines. Wherever the hills spread away from the road, the gentle meadows are filled with vineyards.
