Lyndhurst is a Gothic Revival castle with turrets and towers that was designed by architect Alexander Jackson Davis whose reputation for design of this style made him famous in his time. This home, run by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is worth a visit to see the several Tiffany windows, elaborately decorated rooms, art, and landscaped gardens.
