Not to be missed in Back Bay are Copley Square, Trinity Church, and the John Hancock Tower. The tower was designed by IM Pei and erected in 1976. The building is the tallest in all of New England but has had seen some difficult times as a number of its 10,000 windows have fallen to the ground.
