Just outside Edinburgh, at the historic port of Leith, you can visit the royal yacht Britannia, which traveled to every corner of the globe as a floating residence for the royal family. A visitors’ center and audio-visual presentation introduce you to the yacht’s history then you can take a self-guided tour to every part of the ship. If you are driving, follow signs to Leith (North Edinburgh) and Britannia. There is a direct bus service from Waverley Bridge, next to the railway station.
