The ticket office: 9.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. Types of Ticket and Admission Prices Daytime visit: The areas open to visitors are: the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, the Mosque baths and the Generalife. Entry to the areas accessible to visitors is strictly limited to the relevant time of day shown on the purchased ticket (morning, afternoon or evening visit), once inside visitors may remain until closing time. Morning ticket : Maximum capacity: 3.300 people Monday to Sunday: 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Afternoon ticket : Maximun capacity : 2.100 people (1st November to 28th February) 3.300 people (1st March to 31st October) Evening or night-time visit: This visit only includes the Nasrid Palaces. Entry to the Nasrid Palaces is strictly limited to the times shown on the ticket. Once inside, visitors may remain until the Monument closes. Maximun capacity: 400 people November to February: Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. March to October: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. During the evening visit the use of a flash may dazzle and be of a nuisance to other visitors, therefore it is not allowed. It will also distract from the serenity of the scene found along the gently lit routes. Garden visit: During the daytime it is also possible to obtain a ticket that allows the visitor to specifically see the Monument's main gardens. This includes: the Cypress Walk, the Secano Archaeological Walk, and the Gardens of Saint Francis. The Alcazaba: Ramparts garden. Partal: Gallery of the Palace (El Palacio del Pórtico), gardens and walkways, Rauda, Palace of Yusuf III, the Towers Walk. Generalife: Lower Gardens, Upper Gardens, Water Stairway, Romantic Mirador (pavilion with views). Calle Real: Mosque Baths (Baño de la Mezquita). Access to these areas is not controlled by a specific timetable; they can be visited at any time during the morning or afternoon sessions, according to the relevant time shown on the ticket. If you so wish, this ticket can be used to visit the designated "space of the month" when it is included in the itinerary. Morning ticket: Monday to Sunday: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Afternoon ticket : Monday to Sunday: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (1st November to 28th February) 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. (1st March to 31st October) Admission prices: - General ticket: 10,00 euros Concessions: Senior citizens (aged 65 years and over) and pensioners from the European Union: 7,00 euros Children up to 8 years of age and visitors with special needs: Free entry - Ticket to visit the gardens: 5,00 euros Granada city pass: A tourist Pass for the most important Monuments and Museums in the city. Admission - The number of tickets on sale is limited and subject to availability. - Due to the great demand for tickets, advance booking is recommended. - A maximum of five tickets may be bought per person (except in the case of authorised agents). - The ticket is only valid on the day of the visit. Entrance to the Monument: - Visitors are advised to arrive as soon as possible because a complete tour will take at least three hours. - Admission to the Monument is restricted to a timetable which has been divided into morning, afternoon or evening sessions, according to the type of ticket purchased (see types of tickets). Visitors are advised to take into account the assigned time of admission to the Nasrid Palaces and organise their visit accordingly. - Visitors without tickets should acquire them from the ticket office situated in the Entrance Pavilion and from there visit the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces and then the Generalife. - Visitors who already have tickets are advised to enter the grounds through the Justice Gate (Puerta de la Justicia). Entrance to the Nasrid Palaces: - Due to the limited maximum capacity of this area (300 people each half hour) entrance is strictly limited to the half an hour shown on the ticket. Visitors will be refused admission if the visit is not taken within the stated time. - Last admission to this area is one hour before closing time. Visitors are recommended to begin their itinerary with the Generalife and the Alcazaba, as a tour of the Palaces takes at least half an hour. Visitors will be asked to leave the grounds at closing time.
