When traveling the Gorges du Verdon, on the northern outskirts of Trigance is a spectacular vista of the dramatic Verdon at the Balcons de la Mescla. You can pull off here, and there are terraced points from which you can look down at the dramatic loop in the path of the river some 760 meters below. (There is also a small café where you can purchase snacks and postcards.)
