Many people visit the incredible pilgrimage site and village of Vézelay. Ten kilometers south on the D958 is a wonderful privately owned 12th century château, it is gorgeous in its furnishings and regal setting. The medieval stronghold of Château Bazoches-du-Morvan enjoys a bucolic setting on the site of a former Roman base and makes for a delightful and interesting excursion.
