Karen's Review Of This Property:

A few miles beyond the charming Bavarian village is an even more fairy-tale place: a log cabin inn nestled amid pine and aspen trees against a rugged backdrop of mountains, and one hundred acres of wildlife refuge; whose beauty is enhanced by the sweeping path and mesmerizing sounds of the run of the river. Cozy and intimate, the décor plays on the theme of an alpine hideaway: rich brown, leather sofas and chairs; walls of exposed logs; rough hewn four-poster beds; river rock surrounding both the fireplaces and the Jacuzzi tubs; and folksy clusters of snowshoes, old weathered skis, bikes, birdhouses and country collections. Although the illusion of a mountain décor beautifully compliments the peaceful setting, it is anything but rustic. Think of every luxury provided by the finest hotels and consider them provided—and then all the unbelievable “extras”: binoculars to watch the wildlife including osprey, kingfisher, eagles, deer, and coyote; nuts to attract birds and their accompanying song to the privacy of your deck; for the adventurous, snowshoes and bikes; for the reader, neck rolls to enhance the comfort of your porch swing—honestly too many to detail! Just know that Monty and Karen have anticipated your every need and wish, so that you can truly luxuriate in the peacefulness and romance of the setting which is as poetic as its name.
