Karen's Review Of This Property:
Situated in the heart of the village, the Edenwild Inn is an easy walk to shops, excellent restaurants and art galleries and a good home base from which to explore the island. This spacious Victorian-style inn was built in 1990. The wide, wrap-around porch and garden pergola make excellent places to relax and enjoy the view and the gardens are especially lovely at sunset. Welcomed at the front door, guests are invited to enjoy the lovely sitting room with its large brick fireplace and plenty of leather couches and chairs. The breakfast room is sunny and a great place to enjoy an excellent breakfast that equips you for the activities of the day: cycling the quiet roads (bikes available), kayaking in the bay sitting on the porch watching the world go by, or driving excursions to quiet beaches. Guestrooms are delightfully decorated and offer views of the boating activity on Fisherman’s Bay or the garden. Some have bay windows, others have private entrances. Still others have wood-burning fireplaces. Attention to luxurious detail is evident throughout the inn, whether it’s in-room sherry and chocolates or the innkeepers’ beautiful breakfast settings with beautiful china.
