Karen's Review Of This Property:
Offering exceptional value, Eagles Nest—a Registered Backyard Wildlife Sanctuary—is a panoramic, forested haven adjacent to 400 acres of wooded trails. The first common room you enter is constructed similar to a lodge with towering ceilings, a small wood-burning fireplace, and a grand piano. Ascend the first flight of stairs to the Saratoga Room with terrific views of land and sea. The Forest Room will make you feel as though you are in the woods, as you look out through large windows and skylights. Both offer king-sized beds, private decks or balconies, and are pleasant in their decor. No expense is spared on the comfortable beds with fine linens and down comforters. Also on this floor is a second, spacious sitting room with comfortable chairs, a wet bar, bookshelves, Indian art, and a deer head mounted high on the wall. The final flight of stairs leads directly into the most dramatic spot in the place: the Eagles Nest Room, cleverly shaped as an octagon with as many windows to command a 360-degree view of Saratoga Passage, Camano Island, and Mt. Baker. On the ground level, below the main entrance, is the Garden Suite, a pleasant hideaway decorated in pinks, yellows, and blues. A large hot tub is available on grounds for guests.
