Karen's Review Of This Property:
Travel & Leisure declared Cliff House one of the 50 “Most Romantic Places on Earth.” This unique architectural wonder, set in a lush forest on the edge of Admiralty Inlet, is spectacular, sophisticated, and rustic. Soaring spaces alternate with cozy secluded nooks in a design that continuously surprises. You won’t find a door in the place, except to conceal bathrooms. No matter where you are positioned, you find yourself engulfed by nature, both forest and water. Cliff House is a pure celebration of freedom and wide, open spaces. An enormous full kitchen is readied for your arrival: the refrigerator is stocked for breakfast and the table beautifully set. Linger in the sunken living room in front of a huge wood-burning fireplace. Cozy up in a solarium-like sitting area and enjoy a good book. Climb stairs to the master loft bedroom with king feather bed to take in the staggering view as you listen to the surf break below. Soak in a jetted tub. A low-ceilinged corner is filled with a collection of Native American and African art. Hike steps down to the beach or sit on the tree-house platform and watch the sunset. Also available for rent is the adorable and more affordable Cottage, decorated in rustic style and sporting whimsical murals in the bedroom and bathroom.
