Karen's Review Of This Property:

A legend in its own right with more awards than there is wall upon which to hang them. The Inn at Little Washington is special indeed for those who can find availability in its nine bedrooms, seven suites, and off-site private home in the countryside. If decor were the measure of comfort and pleasure, the rooms of this inn would be over the top. If food were the most important thing in the world, you would be hard pressed to find better food more beautifully presented. As if this were not enough, this is an inn that understands what service is and how it should be given—gracious and unassuming but ever present. The bedrooms are sumptuously decorated with fabulous fabrics used lavishly to create moods and comfort. Every possible amenity has been thought of, and if there were something lacking, it would be brought to you before the thought could be completed. Tea was served while I was there, and in addition to the choice of teas, there was a selection of cookies, berry tarts, and dried or candied fruit that would have made either the earlier lunch or the forthcoming dinner unnecessary—a thought not to be considered! The dining room is so spectacular that dinner already tastes good before you are even seated. The Inn at Little Washington, while expensive, is one of a kind and should not be missed.
