Karen's Review Of This Property:
A country estate dating back to the 1850s, Lancaster County with its rolling hills and large farms, and the presence of the Amish community evidenced in many ways but most obviously by the horse-drawn buggies rolling along the county’s byways—all these are reasons for visiting this part of Pennsylvania. The Inn at Twin Linden, a manor house surrounded by flower-filled gardens, offers a warmth that’s easy to feel but not easy to duplicate. Innkeepers Norm and Sue Kuestner offer a very comfortable inn with a variety of accommodations to suit any traveler. The Garden Gate and the Palladian Suites are deluxe retreats with their own private entrances. The Garden Gate provides ultimate seclusion in a separate building over the carriage house with a balcony porch overlooking a peaceful garden setting and farm fields as far as the eye can see. The Palladian enjoys a sitting room with a view that will turn minutes into hours as you gaze across the distant fields and farms. A multi-course breakfast with a hot entrée is served in one of the dining rooms where on Saturdays dinner is available. Tea is provided in the afternoon—a great refresher of energy that will see you through to dinner, after which you’re assured of a great night’s sleep.
