Karen's Review Of This Property:

Home away from home—at a hotel like the Elysée . . . and at a great price—this is truly possible. When the doorman greets you, it’s obvious service will be high on the list of memories. It’s quiet, it’s friendly, and above all, it’s refined and yet alive. Rooms range from smaller, standard-size rooms to suites with separate beds and sitting rooms. The décor is traditional with warm, wood furniture and armoires that provide ample space for your clothes and the TV. French scenic and floral prints convey a classy message of comfort. Wallpaper in soft neutrals adds to the distinguished atmosphere. My favorite room (I could have been at home in any) had a king bed and opened onto a small solarium with curved frosted-glass delivering natural light into the space. Furnished with cane and bamboo furniture, one would almost welcome a lovely, soft rain to stay inside. Bathrooms, tiled in marble, contain every imaginable amenity. On the second floor, above the lobby, is a sitting room where breakfast is served: fresh juices, fruit, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cereals, and an array of pastries. In the evening, a selection of wines and cheese and crackers is offered.
