Karen's Review Of This Property:
Just ten minutes from the southern outskirts of Manchester and conveniently located the same distance from the airport, the Bedford Village Inn is a complex of yellow buildings sitting above the main road to the city. Now surrounded by urban sprawl, the inn dates back to the time when Bedford was a farming community and the core of the complex is the original barn and Federal-style farmhouse built in 1810. Although the complex appears quite large, the inn has just 14 deluxe guest suites—eight luxury suites, four executive suites with separate sitting areas, two two-bedroom annex suites and the new, luxurious Woodbury Cottage. All the rooms are appointed with marble baths, Jacuzzi tubs, four-poster beds, good lighting, and lots of amenities such as fine towels and soaps. The former milking room is now a comfortable sitting room for guests, with sofas set in front of a large fireplace. The barn also boasts an enormous room that is host to weddings and large functions. The inn’s acclaimed restaurant is actually eight individually decorated, intimate dining rooms. We chose to dine in the Tavern Bar, which offered simpler, reasonably priced but still excellent fare.
