Karen's Review Of This Property:
In a perfect location just off Boston Common on Charles Street, site of many antique shops, restaurants, and boutiques, you find the new Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro, a very sophisticated small hotel with the feel of a bed and breakfast. The bedrooms, reached via an elevator are small, but have all the amenities that a traveler might expect including a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. Nine of the rooms have queen beds, two have doubles, one has twin beds, and on the top floor there is an in-room suite. The color palette of the bedrooms’ decor is soft and soothing, with tones of taupe accented by off-white trim and black accessories. Satellite TV is available, including the movie channels, and there are telephones with dual lines and a data port for Internet access. Most of the rooms do not have seating areas but there is a small and comfortable sitting area for guests on the second floor. The hotel is air-conditioned and there is parking available for guests—a very nice feature in downtown Boston. The trendy but comfortable adjoining bistro-restaurant, which has received much acclaim, provides room service and the hotel offers all the concierge services one could want for maximizing a stay in the Boston area.
