Karen's Review Of This Property:
Distinguished by its beautiful stained-glass sign and landscaped gardens, the Linekin Bay Bed & Breakfast is a very attractive, white clapboard, two-story home whose front wrap-around porch is decorated with hanging plants and overflowing window boxes. To fully appreciate the setting, continue around to the back where the lawn sweeps down to the bay. Enter the property from the front porch to the welcome of owners, Marti and Larry. Leaving behind their former careers in teaching and law enforcement, they easily and naturally adapted as innkeepers of this 1878 historic property. Off the entry on one side is a wonderful front parlor, the other side leads to the breakfast room and a glass-enclosed back sitting room. The Holbrook Suite, dramatic and spacious, is located on the first floor with its own private porch. It has a four-poster king bed and looks out through large picture windows to the lawn and water. The other three rooms are found by climbing the steep entry stairs and also enjoy views to the water. Rhapsody in Blue is to the right and Crooked Chimney is to the left; both enjoy views to the water. Whispering Rose overlooks the front garden, but climb to its romantic loft where its A-frame window faces the idyllic back view.
