Karen's Review Of This Property:
Just 4 miles north of Camden in the little village of Lincolnville Beach there’s an inn sitting at the water’s edge that provides an idyllic place for you to rest while listening to the water lapping at the shore and the wind sighing in the pines. The Inn at Sunrise Point, consisting of the main house with three bedrooms, five cottages and a loft, named after Maine’s most famous writers and artists, offers luxurious guestrooms of great charm, all containing fireplaces. The Winslow Homer, The Fitz Hugh Lane, and The Rachel Carson cottages enjoy prime waterfront settings and the suite is so complete (with kitchen) that one could move in and never move out. Bedrooms have either queen or king beds, bathrooms with large tubs, and plush robes. In the cottages there are two-person spa tubs, wet bars, and private decks. A full gourmet breakfast is served in the glass conservatory of the main house. This inn is nicely located for exploring all of the wonders of the Camden region, and at the end of a day of excursions, you can return to enjoy a glass of wine sitting by the fire in the cherry-paneled library. I can imagine nothing nicer than to rest in this setting for days, venturing out to the shops, the restaurants, and taking full advantage of the spectacular setting.
