Wesley House Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

Tucked behind a rambling, timbered façade with mullioned windows and steeply pitched roof, Wesley House is a delightful “restaurant with rooms” offering fabulous fare to appreciative travelers and faithful locals. From the entry with its comfortable seating, you can look through to the staggered levels of the attractive restaurant whose enticing menu makes for difficult choices. Ask to be seated in the atrium with its countryside views. Not looking for a big meal then consider wine and tapas in the adjacent bar. Climb the narrow little stairs of this inn, whose oldest part dates to 1435, to five snug guestrooms, each named for a local meadow. The smallest, charmingly named Mumble Meadow, has a double bed and is attractively decorated in fabrics of cream and reds. Preachers, the oldest room and housed in what was once the fireplace, has twin beds and a sloping floor. At the back, Sandy Hollow has a twin or double bed; while Almsbury, enjoys a private terrace and views across to Sudeley Castle. Setchley is also identified as the emergency fire escape, so residents of this room would be the first ones out! On Saturday nights dinner, bed and breakfast rates apply from £180 to £200 per room.
