Karen's Review Of This Property:
On a narrow cobbled street overlooking the harbor, The Abbey Hotel dates back to the 17th century and is a delightful bed and breakfast full of period features. Make yourself at home in the high-ceilinged sitting room whose tall windows also serve as doors to the walled garden. Breakfast is the only meal served in the oak-paneled dining room. The second floor contains the three choice bedrooms. Number 1 is an especially attractive large room with comfy chairs and a huge, pine-paneled bathroom with large antique bath. Room 3 has a delightful sitting nook and a bathroom hidden behind a bookcase door. Room 4 has twin beds, inviting window seats providing views of the harbor and its dry dock, and a shower and WC tucked into a large closet. A two-bedroom apartment offers the most spacious accommodation. It’s an excellent location in the heart of town. Just up the street are two great pubs, The Admiral Benbow and The Turk’s Head. Nearby are St. Michael’s Mount, Mousehole, and Land’s End (very commercialized).
