Karen's Review Of This Property:

Katherine Morgan has done the most magnificent job of converting an old barn, stable block, and oast house, originally used for drying hops, into an exquisite home. Traditional features include exposed timbers in the walls and ceilings and heavy rafters. Lovely pictures adorn the walls and enviable antiques furnish every nook and cranny. If you want to splurge, ask for the four-poster room and you will sleep in a king-size four-poster decked in lemon-and-green-sprigged fabric. Its ground-floor location within the roundel makes it ideal for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. A twin/king-bedded room has a third bed for a child, while the third bedroom is equipped with a queen bed. Like everything in the house, the bathrooms are absolutely spiffing and top of the line. Katherine enjoys meeting people and entertaining, so guests who order dinner (in advance) are in for a real treat. You are welcome to swim in the heated pool (summer only), relax on the deck by the pond, and enjoy the acres of gardens. Sissinghurst Gardens are a mile away, while Chartwell, Knole, Igtham Mote, Penshurt Place, and Batemans are within easy reach.
