Karen's Review Of This Property:
You’ll enjoy staying at Powersfield House on the outskirts of Dungarvan. Eunice has decorated her home with great style, she’s a talented chef, and a warm, easy going person. When Eunice returned to Dungarvan to marry a local farmer they built this substantial neo-Georgian home large enough to provide plenty of space for their family on one side of the house and guests on the other. There are six most attractive bedrooms decorated with a modern flair in a traditional country house style. Downstairs guests have a comfortable sitting room adjacent to the dining room. Eunice is a talented chef who, until she had 3 young boys, ran a popular restaurant. Now she limits herself to dinner for guests though she is happy to give day-long cookery courses to parties of guests, demonstrating an arsenal of easy to prepare dishes for entertaining. Just down the road Dungarven is an attractive seaside town round a pretty bay. It’s a particularly attractive coastal drive to Waterford and you can return by a faster, inland route. To the west is Ardmore, a 7th century monastic settlement.
