Karen's Review Of This Property:

Herrmann’s Romantik Posthotel, found on the main square of Wirsberg, a village just off the autobahn north of Bayreuth, was once a posting station. Although part of the hotel appears modern, the reception area and hallway are set under heavy beams, and there is a cozy little room tucked back into a corner with leaded-glass windows where breakfast is served. For lunch or evening meals the hotel’s Hermann's Restaurant is elegantly set; while the Jagerstube, the oldest part of the old Posthotel, affords an environment for a more casual rendezvous, beer, or supper. For overnight guests, the Herrmann family’s wish is to see to all their comforts and create an atmosphere that will tempt them to linger: “Gastlichkeit mit Herz” (hospitality with heart). The comfortable bedrooms range in decor from comfortable modern to an attractive traditional, and a selection of rooms is renovated with each year. Also available to hotel guests is the fitness center. The pool is styled after a Roman bath, and the walls of the sauna, fitness room, solarium, and massage room are covered with faux rock, vines, and a garden mural. Werner and Melitta are the fifth generation of the Herrmann family to welcome guests at the Romantik Posthotel.

This 4-star hotel has comfortable rooms, suites and a landscaped natural-rock swimming pool area. The Vitality Center offers a full range of wellness facilities, including shiatsu massage, spas, packs and cosmetic treatments. Guests have a choice of two restaurants. Local Franken specialties are served in the "JägerstubeÝ" and in the restaurant guests are able enjoy the exciting and creative gourmet cuisine of Alexander Herrmann. Plus, sommelier Eva Herrmann offers an extremely wide selection of Franken wines.
