Karen's Review Of This Property:

Leonard and Esther (both from the Netherlands) transformed this 1800 former farmhouse into a jewel with a complete renovation then opened it up to guests. This young, energetic couple do their best to make your stay unforgettable and it is great fun to be around such a happy pair. Situated on the edge of Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence, about 5 kilometers from Uzès, Mas d’Oléandre has a lot to surprise you. As soon as you enter through the blue gate, you feel you’re in a hamlet of peace. You are surrounded by all types of plants and this natural decoration gives an aura of authenticity and simplicity. The stone house with blue shutters offers four spacious bedrooms all with their own private terrace and bathroom, brightly decorated in a Provençal style, and two two-story apartments with well-equipped kitchens. The swimming pool, surrounded by lavender and other plants, looks out to a breathtaking view of the valley—as Leonard said, this view is like a movie that is playing all the time, like a never-ending story! During the high season Esther cooks dinner, her Provençal specialties including trout, salmon, rabbit, and chicken à l’estragon.

Directions: From Avignon leave the A9 at exit 23 for Remoulins, In Remoulins take the D981 towards Uzes/Ales then continue on to Montaren. In Montaren turn right at the light onto the D337 in the direction of Saint-Mediérs. Mas d’Oléandre is at the end of the hamlet (you will see a blue sign).
