Karen's Review Of This Property:
La Cabro d’Or, which is part of the Maisons de Baumanière group, opened its doors in 1961 and quickly became a travelers’ favorite. The hotel is divided into two Provençal houses, one with the reception and the restaurant, and the other with the guestrooms. The façades are covered with lush vines, and the grounds are simply spectacular: feel free to wander among the perfectly manicured gardens, cypress trees, and fragrant oleanders. The rooms are stylishly appointed, comfortable, and spacious. The suites and apartments are on the ground floor with access to a lovely terrace and other floors enjoy gorgeous views. All the rooms have modern bathrooms, flatscreen TVs, and every convenience you’d expect from a world-class hotel. For relaxing, there’s a beautiful pool surrounded by olive trees and other greenery, and a poolside bar offers drinks and snacks. The restaurant receives rave reviews from guests and the menu definitely profits from the chef's personal vegetable and herb garden. In the summer months breakfast is served outside with tables set to enjoy the surrounding landscape. There are plans to open a wonderful spa in the near future which will make this undeniably a world-class retreat and a place to escape and be pampered. La Cabro d’Or offers luxurious accommodation, exceptional service in a an idyllic and relaxed setting.
